I have no idea about importing additional templates for that program or Fastcut which appears to be an end of life product. Your computer specs are missing an nvidia graphics card for the new software but not sure if that would make a difference. The stuttering may be caused by the files if they are from a newer mobile phone as the codecs for them would not be present in the older software. The latest introduction to video editing program by Magix is now Video Easy.
